Role now supports Owlbear Rodeo, running native in your Role rooms! To use this feature, you’ll need a Role Patron subscription, and will need to install the Role OBR extension. Please follow the instructions below:

NOTE: For now, Hosts will need to open OBR in a separate tab in order to access the app’s full controls. We are actively working with OBR on an update that will allow Hosts to fully manage the map from within the Role room. Players can still fully interact with OBR within the room as normal.

Add Role Extension on Owlbear Rodeo

1. Head over to Owlbear Rodeo and open the OBR Room you’d like to connect to Role.

2. Click the star icon in the bottom left of the screen and then click “Extensions”.

   

3. Click the “Add +” button.

4. Click the + icon in the top right of the extensions modal.

   

5. Paste this link: https://obr-ext.playrole.com/manifest.json

6. Click “Add”.

7. Ensure the Role extension is enabled from your Extensions modal

   

8. You have now installed the Role extension to your OBR account.

Setup Role Extension

1. Click the Role icon in your main OBR toolbar.

   

2. Login to your Role account.

3. Select the Role room to load assets from.

4. You’re OBR room is now connected to your Role room. Clicking on assets will import them into your OBR room.
