Bring in that video intro for your campaign, show off that Dwarven Forge battle map with your second camera, or just share yourself drawing an NPC all at the same table. You can start a Screen Share in your Room with just a few clicks.
<aside> 💡 Tip: Test out Screen Share yourself before bringing it to your session to make sure you’re completely set up and familiar with how it works.

Chrome
You will be given the option to select a Screen, Window or Chrome Tab. Select one then clicks Share. Doing so will also show a small prompt allowing you to Stop Sharing from there.
Firefox
You will be given the option to select a Screen or Window (no tab). Select one then click Allow. Doing so will also show a small prompt allowing you to Stop Sharing from there. N.B. - if you hit Esc when prompted here, you will temporarily prevent Screen Share on Firefox. Follow the steps below to fix this.
Safari
Screen sharing is possible in Safari, but at this time it is only possible to share your entire screen. You cannot share an individual browser tab or application.
While sharing your screen in a room, you will see a teal button indicating you are currently sharing your screen. Clicking this will immediately end the Screen Share
Each browser will also give you a different way to halt your Screen Share to the table
Chrome
Firefox
Safari
In the URL Bar of Safari, you will se a red icon indicating you are currently sharing your screen. Clicking Pause here will not terminate the Screen Share, but it will leave a black box, hiding the Screen Share at the table.
If you click Pause, the icon may become “invisible” - this is due to a bug in the Safari browser. Clicking the same spot where the icon was will prompt you to Resume the Screen Share if you like.
To effectively stop Screen Share, we recommend you use the teal Screen Share button at the bottom.
